Due to problems with spam, those who do not know my email address and wish to contact me must do so through one of the following roundabout ways.

(1) Use my old email address, pictured below. Pro: It's easy. Con: It's slow and unreliable. I check this address only about once a week and sometimes, mail does not make it to me here even though it should.

(2) Go through my blog's comment system per the instructions below. Pro: It's reliable. Con: Some people find it confusing and there is the remote chance I'll accidentally publish the comment.

  1. Go to any posting at my blog.
  2. Click the word "Comments" at the foot of the post.
  3. Click "post a comment".
  4. Enter the word "CONTACT" in all caps on the first line.
  5. Enter your email address and name on the second line.
  6. Write your message and, if it is not obvious from the message, state your reason for wanting to contact me.
  7. Follow the remaining instructions (on the comment page) to submit the comment.
Note: If you also want to comment on a given post, do so in a separate comment. I will reject all comments labeled "CONTACT", using them only to obtain your email address for future correspondence -- subject to my email policy below.

In other words: Anything submitted as a comment is subject to my email policy.

Also, while I prefer to answer contact inquiries and emails, I am extremely busy and cannot guarantee that I will reply or that if I do, it will be in a timely fashion. Please accept my apologies in advance for this circumstance.

I am interested in placing banner ads and selling other ad space on my web links page. On the blog itself, I am receptive only to unobtrusive, text-based advertising. I will not accept pop-up, pop-under, or roll-over ads, or any other advertising that will detract from the professional appearance of the site or access to the material. I will also not accept ads I deem tasteless.
